The book has been prepared for Intermediate students of UP Board as per the latest syllabus and changed paper pattern. This book is divided into four sections, i.e. (i) Prose, (ii) Poetry, (iii) Short Stories and (iv) The Merchant of Venice. The Prose is simply an attempt to enable the students in the direction of good writing and understanding the English language written by Indian as well as foreign writers.
